The 10th edition of the Africa Agri Expo is scheduled to take place on September 2–3, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, bringing together farmers, agribusiness leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators from across Africa and beyond.
The event will be held alongside the third edition of the Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo, providing a comprehensive platform for stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
According to the organizers, this landmark 10th-anniversary edition aims to strengthen business partnerships, promote innovation and attract greater investment into Africa’s rapidly growing agricultural sector.
The expo is expected to showcase the latest advancements in crop production, irrigation technologies, smart farming solutions, agricultural machinery and a wide range of agricultural inputs.
Speaking ahead of the event, TAB Group Chief Executive Officer Tahir Abdul Bari said Africa continues to play an increasingly important role in global food production and agricultural trade.
“Africa is not the market of the future; it is the market of today. The businesses that build strong relationships here now will lead the next decade of global agri-food trade,” he said.
The expo comes at a time when Africa is attracting growing international attention due to its vast agricultural potential.
Organizers note that the continent possesses more than 60 percent of the world’s uncultivated arable land and is home to one of the fastest-growing food markets globally.
Tanzania has been selected as the host nation because of its favorable agricultural environment, expanding infrastructure and strategic access to regional markets through the Port of Dar es Salaam.
Organizers believe Tanzania serves as an important gateway for companies seeking business opportunities in East and Central Africa.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature high-level conferences and panel discussions focusing on climate-smart agriculture, food security, agricultural financing and youth participation in the sector.
Furthermore, the Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo will provide a dedicated platform for discussions on animal nutrition, veterinary services, livestock breeding technologies and food processing solutions.
Businesses participating in the expo will have opportunities to showcase their products and services, secure sponsorships, engage in business networking sessions and connect with potential buyers, distributors and investors from across Africa and beyond.
Organizers expect the event to build upon a decade of success in facilitating trade, partnerships and knowledge exchange within Africa’s agricultural sector.
Africa Agri Expo 2026 is expected to be among the largest agricultural business gatherings on the continent, further strengthening its position as a key platform for promoting sustainable growth and investment in Africa’s agriculture and food industries.
